Prior to joining Economists Incorporated in 1995, Mr. Davis held the position of Director, Economic and Policy Research at the
Securities and Exchange Commission since 1982. In that capacity Mr. Davis supervised a staff of financial economists engaged in research and
analysis of a wide variety of regulatory and enforcement issues. He advised the Commission's Division of Enforcement on economic, financial and
statistical issues raised in cases involving insider trading and other fraudulent schemes. Since joining Economists Incorporated, Mr. Davis
has worked on numerous matters involving insider trading, securities fraud, damages, and antitrust issues.
Mr. Davis has conducted research primarily focused on the application of economics and finance to the analysis of securities law violations,
securities market structure, the options market, and numerous SEC rules. His research has been published in such periodicals as the Journal of
Law and Economics, The Business Lawyer, and Securities Regulation Law Journal. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Davis was an Adjunct Professor on the
faculty of the Georgetown University Law Center, teaching “Economic Aspects of Securities Regulation” to students enrolled in the graduate
law program.
