Mr. Wright’s work as a consultant has included analysis of mergers, vertical restraints, price fixing claims, monopolization, damages, price discrimination,
and intellectual property matters. He has experience in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, ocean shipping, cable programming, music rights, tobacco,
food industries, electronic equipment, and a variety of branded consumer goods.
Mr. Wright has provided economic testimony on antitrust liability, damages, Robinson-Patman, and intellectual property matters. Mr. Wright has also represented
clients before the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Mr. Wright was a co-editor and contributor to a volume
titled Antitrust Law and Economics of Product Distribution, which was published by the American Bar Association in 2006.
Prior to joining EI, Mr. Wright served for seven years as an economist with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, where he worked on many mergers, civil
non-merger matters, and price-fixing investigations. Mr. Wright also served as a technical advisor on competition policy to six foreign governments. |
