Mr. Siwek was formerly senior consultant at Snavely, King and Associates, Inc., a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm. He is a specialist in financial and cost analysis. Mr. Siwek has particular expertise in the economic analysis of regulated utilities including telecommunications, electric, gas and postal service providers. He has testified as an expert witness in more than forty proceedings before federal and state regulatory authorities. Mr. Siwek's consulting specialties also include analysis of economic damages in commercial litigation and antitrust. He has evaluated damage claims in litigation involving telecommunications companies, media firms, airlines, consumer products providers and industrial corporations. Mr. Siwek also has substantial consulting and research experience in international trade. In the international area, Mr. Siwek has focused particularly on the media and software industries. He is co-author (with Steven S. Wildman) of International Trade in Films and Television Programs, American Enterprise Institute/Ballinger Publishing Company and International Trade in Computer Software, Quorum Books (with Harold Furchtgott-Roth). Mr. Siwek has also published annual studies of the “Copyright Industries” in the US economy on behalf of the International Intellectual Property Alliances.
