Mr. Sun’s consulting experience is primarily empirical analysis in antitrust and damages cases. He has worked on simulation models for antitrust review of mergers, estimation of damages in price fixing and monopolization cases, and statistical analysis on business strategy, intellectual property and employment issues. His industry experience includes electric generation and transmission, natural gas pipelines and storage, oil refinery, chemicals, crop seeds, restaurants, casinos, test preparation, credit cards, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, groceries, toothbrushes, razors, tobacco, beer, steel, scrap metal, music, and high-speed internet access.

While at University of Michigan, Mr. Sun taught economics at both the undergraduate level and the MBA level.

Mr. Sun is an expert in antitrust issues in China. He was actively involved in the consultation process in China’s drafting of its first Antimonopoly Law, and has consulted on China matters. His writings on China’s antitrust issues have appeared in Antitrust Law Journal, International Antitrust Bulletin, Journal of Competition Law and Economics, and some Chinese journals as well.
