Most EI professionals specialize in microeconomics with an emphasis in the field of industrial organization, the body of economic theory and the set of tools most appropriate for analyzing issues such as competition policy, economic regulation, and economic damages. EI economists are experts in many fields including antitrust, damages analysis, class certification, intellectual property, regulation, competition policy and legal reform, labor issues, transfer pricing and management consulting. The EI staff also includes experts with advanced training and experience in econometrics, statistics, finance and accounting.
